Placement on the Approved Firearms Roster requires testing by an approved independent testing
laboratory — one not owned or controlled by a firearm manufacturer or by an advocacy
organization (501 CMR 7.04). This is the current list of laboratories EOPSS/FCAB recognizes for
that purpose. It is also the list that governs a roster appeal under 501 CMR 7.06, which
requires clear and convincing evidence from an approved independent testing laboratory.
