FIREARMS LICENSING (LTC and FID)
Proof of Wilbraham residency is required for all applications / renewals.
Failure to report address change will cause renewals to be submitted to the improper licensing agency
You must apply for a resident firearms license to carry or firearms identification card through the police department in the city/town where you reside. The Wilbraham Police Department is unable to process non-resident applications.
Online applications and renewals are processed through the MIRCS Unified Gun Portal . Once an application is submitted via the portal it will not be processed until payment has been received.
Incomplete or incorrect online applications will be returned to the applicant via the MIRCS portal for correction. Applications without payment may be canceled.
Paper applications are available in the lobby of the Wilbraham Police Department and must have all required documents and payment submitted to be processed.
Applicants not residing in Massachusetts who wish to apply for LTC/ FID must apply directly with MIRCS via the MIRCS Unified Gun Portal.
REQUIRED TO APPLY OR RENEW:
A complete Resident Firearms License Application If your court case was dismissed, continued or you were found not guilty it must be disclosed. Failure to answer all of these questions truthfully may result in the denial, suspension or revocation of your firearms license. Applications are signed under the penalties of perjury.

Accepted forms of payment- Check or Money Order payable to the " Town of Wilbraham ".
New LTC or FID license number must be on check or money order, to confirm payment for any application submitted online. New LTC number is located on your receipt after submitting your application.
NEW APPLICANTS
Once application is processed you will be contacted to schedule an appointment for fingerprints.
RENEWALS
When the LTC /FID arrives you will be contacted to pick up your LTC /FID card at the Wilbraham Police Department. LTC /FID are not mailed.
