Residents and non-residents can apply for a new firearms license or renew an existing license. You can also check the status of your licenses and applications.

View your PIN directly from the MIRCS Firearms Licensing Portal for any of your active firearms licenses.
Report an Address or Name Change
Report an address or name change to the FRB for your firearms licenses. Massachusetts law requires that you report a change of address within 30 days of moving.
LTC Change of Address Form
Your application will be processed by your local licensing authority and includes a fingerprint-based background check and a check with the Department of Mental Health. Processing time varies by licensing authority.
