Firearms Licensing Update -
All renewals will be processed through the mail. New applicants will need to contact us for an appointment. Instructions for Renewals and New Applications are outlined below.
FOR RENEWALS ONLY:
Download and complete application from the Mass.gov website.
Include check for $100 payable to the Town of Wales.
Please mail check and application to the Wales Police Department. P. O. Box 262 Wales, MA 01081.
FOR NEW APPLICANTS ONLY:
Download and complete application from the Mass.gov website.
Please contact us directly to schedule an appointment for application processing and finger printing.

For your appointment please bring the following
Completed application.
A check for $100. payable to the Town of Wales (no check needed if you are 70 years of age or older at time of renewal).
Copy of your basic firearm safety certificate.
You will be finger printed at your appointment.
