Business Owner
Business owner firearms applicants who are applying for a License to Carry or Firearms Identification Card are required to submit the following documentation:
Check payable to the town of Tyngsborough
Completed LTC/FID Application
Copy of Safety Course Certificate (LTC/FID Massachusetts Basic Firearms Safety Course)
Two Reference Letters
Proof of business ownership in the town of Tyngsborough
Massachusetts LTC/FID affidavit – RENEWALS ONLY
Failure to submit all required documents could result in application being denied.
Individual - New
License to Carry or Firearms Identification Card are required to submit the following documentation:
Check payable to the town of Tyngsborough
Completed LTC/FID Application
Copy of Safety Course Certificate (LTC/FID Massachusetts Basic Firearms Safety Course)
Two Reference Letters
Proof of Tyngsborough Residency; Any one of the following serves as verification: Utility bill, lease agreement, tax bill from the Town of Tyngsborough (Excise or Property), bank or credit card statement or most recent paystub.

Renewal Firearms Applicants who are applying for License to Carry or Identification Card are required to submit the following documentation:

Completed LTC/FID Application
