The Egremont Police Department is accepting applications from certified police officers interested in serving a close-knit Southern Berkshire community. Egremont officers gain broad, hands-on experience across patrol, investigations, traffic enforcement, emergency response, court work, and community policing. Officers are trusted with meaningful responsibility and have the opportunity to manage cases from the initial response through follow-up.
Position Details
Salary: $60,050-$85,000

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, hold or be able to obtain a valid Massachusetts driver's license, and meet Massachusetts Police Training Committee certification requirements. Candidates must also successfully complete the department's background, medical, psychological, and drug-screening processes.
