2nd and 4th Mondays 4:00PM–6:00PM each month.
Firearms license applications will be accepted in person at this time. Any applicants unable to make this time are welcome to mail a completed application with the appropriate fee to: Chester Police Department, 15 Middlefield Rd. Chester, MA 01011. See Additional Resources for more information.

License to carry firearms: $100.00
Firearm ID cards: $100.00
Please note: Effective March 1, 2021, all License To Carry (LTC) applications renewals must be paid with a check. Cash will no longer be allowed as payment for these permits.
